The HSI First Aid | CPR AED training program is designed for anyone who wants or is required to gain skills in first aid and CPR with the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course is perfect for community members, employees, teachers, parents, babysitters, and other non-healthcare providers.

Participants will:

  • Learn to recognize and respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), medical and injury emergencies, and choking for adults, children, and infants.
  • Develop skills in high-quality CPR, rescue breathing, and the safe use of an AED.
  • Gain practical experience in first aid topics such as bleeding, burns, shock, allergic reactions, poisoning, fractures, and environmental emergencies.
  • Practice with scenario-based exercises for real-world application.

The program reflects the latest guidelines from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and American Heart Association (AHA) and can be delivered in classroom, blended, or remote formats. Certification is valid for two years.

The HSI ACLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and first responders who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary emergencies and resuscitation efforts. This scenario-based program enhances and refines participants’ knowledge and hands-on skills in emergency cardiovascular care.

  • Covers the latest emergency guidelines and evidence-based practices for the management of cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, and stroke.
  • Teaches high-quality Basic Life Support (BLS), advanced airway management, and the use of emergency cardiovascular medications.
  • Includes rhythm recognition, cardiac rhythm management (including pulseless VT/VF and other arrhythmias), and effective team resuscitation scenarios.
